Owning It Like A Size 8!

Ladies I’ve been working in a wetsuit since 11am today. And, I’ve been working it like a size 8!!

Throughout the day, since I zipped myself up, I’ve been feeling like a million dollars. Wanna know why?

It’s that “something” that happens when your self-confidence and body image peaks, and you squeeze your oversize booty into something so tight, and walk into a meeting, clad in a wetsuit feeling like you own the world no matter what others see and think.

It’s that sparkle that you know is in your eyes, that zest for life and people. That moment when you are in a change room surrounded by toned and “real” size 8 surfer chicks and you still own it like an 8!!

I love this feeling! After my meeting I walked back to my office barefoot, ย and sat behind a laptop like the Queen of this Universe! Then I packed up and walked to the station, still in my DRY wetsuit. No way I was going to brave the choppy waters!

In the train some people stared at me, on the crowded station people stared at me. But who cares? I owned every dirty step I took as I made my way to the beach where I captured some lovely images while soaking my dirty feet in the cool water.

Then I stopped for a Savanna and quick blog ๐Ÿ˜‰

My message to you? Go out and own it like a size 8 or 22!! This world is YOURS, don’t get caught up in hoo-ha about the bling, ย the rolls; the dimples or the size. Go rock today like a million dollars! I just did and it feels awesome!

On my way back to the office after my meeting this morning.

Dirty train, dirty feet, awesome feeling of a free spirit!
